Walton Heath Golf Club
Walton Heath is one of the world’s most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich golfing and political history and the quality of its two exceptionally challenging heathland layouts, described by Jack Nicklaus as “wonderfully pure.” Both courses feature in the UK and Ireland’s Top 50 rankings. The Old has earned its place in the World’s Top 100 every year since the inception of the rankings in 1938.
Worplesdon Golf Club
Worplesdon is one of the classic Surrey heathland courses, laid out in 1908 by J F Abercromby; the greens and bunkers were constructed by Willie Park Junior. A great layout calling for much thought to be given to shot placement. The short holes in particular are superb. The greens are excellent and amongst the best in Surrey. Built on predominantly Bagshot sand, the course drains well in the winter and becomes very much the inland links course the heathland courses are famed for in the summer. We do not use temporary greens or tees, nor is play prevented due to frost.
Tandridge Golf Club
Celebrated golf architect Harry Colt created this delightful course at Tandridge in 1924. There are spectacular views of the Surrey North Downs and the High Weald, with the front nine running along relatively gentle land and the back nine sited in more rolling and dramatic terrain. Strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy from the tee, plateau greens make for demanding approach shots and subtle borrows on the renowned surfaces test your putting.
Swinley Forest Golf Club
A private members’ club located between Sunningdale and Ascot that has charmed, inspired, and challenged golfers for over 100 years. Designed by Harry Colt, its layout carves its way through spectacular heathland vistas framed by heather, pine woods, azaleas, and rhododendrons. With its combination of 2 par 5s, 11 par 4s, and 5 par 3s, Swinley plays deceptively long and its undulating greens deliver an extra test of skill to all comers. Off the back tees, Swinley measures 6431 yards with a par of 69.
The Berkshire Golf Club
Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is home to two Herbert Fowler designed courses, both of which are widely regarded as amongst the best in the British Isles. The Berkshire is a traditional Members’ Club which warmly welcomes visiting golfers all year round to enjoy the beauty of its pine and heather lined courses, and to face the subtle challenges of Fowler’s superb design.
